Poplave... Dan: ko zna koji?! / Floods... Day: Who Knows?!

(English version at the bottom)

 Poplave...

Surovo.

Surovo.

Floods... Day: Who knows?!

It feels like whole eternity has passed since this crazy watter has agitated, determined to destroy everything that she find on her way. People all over Serbia are fighting for things that are steel there to be rescued but true fight is still ahead. It won't be easy at all for our country to get back on her feet. Too much damage has been caused. And, we will know better how big the damage is when the watter get back in riverbed. So cruel...

Today and everyday all over Serbia a lot of  rescue actions are organized to help people that suffered this huge disaster the most and to rescue things that needs rescuing. Of course I could not talk what was happening on every rescuing place since I wasn't there but I can talk about what was happening in places where I was and where I was trying to contribute as much as I could. It was so nice to see so many people are helping each other donating things that are most needed, money and other things and supplies. And later, on the river embankment guys' will to give out their best to secure the city as fast as they can (as fast as we can). Trucks with sacks filled with sand were coming round hourly but there were literally thousands of men and we were doing the job in 10 - 15 mins.

Also, it was nice to see famous people helping and contributing these actions without flashes and cameras all around. We are people willing to give our best to help someone, after all. While thousands of men were building the river embankment there were dozens of men and women bringing water and sandwiches to help those who were doing the harder work by the river Sava (one of worst Serbian enemies in this moment). Among them, there was Serbian young actor, Miloš Biković who were also donating refreshments and other needed stuff.

Finaly, huge, huge disaster hit Serbia and everyone needs to contribute to community in one way or another. 'Cause only united, we can "win" this. If someone feels there's no need for help... Cruel.
